How to read this website.

Vision statements

This website describes the VNet Foundation’s vision and the ways in which VNet technology and participating organizations could contribute to social outcomes. Statements about what VNet, VV, VWork, VClass, VHealth, VLaw, VDonate or any other application could do are forward-looking descriptions of intended capabilities and possible uses. They are not statements that any social problem has been solved, that any outcome has been achieved, or that any capability is available in every region or to every organization.

No fabricated metrics

The Global Impact Dashboard and every other part of this site display numerical impact figures only when they come from verified live data reported by participating organizations, aggregated and anonymised, with their source and reporting period. Where such data does not exist, no figure is shown.

VV and the AI features of VNet applications provide information, navigation and assistance. They do not provide professional medical diagnosis or treatment, legal advice or representation, or eligibility decisions for any government or organizational program. Those belong to qualified professionals and to the organizations that run the programs. In a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.

Privacy and government access

Nothing in the Foundation vision gives any government unrestricted access to individual VNet information. Statistics described on this site are aggregated and appropriately anonymised, subject to consent, applicable law, governance and privacy controls.

Compliance and certification claims

VNet states a certification against a security or privacy standard only once it has been completed with an independent assessor. Until then the phrase used is “designed to support compliance with”, which is what it means.
